NATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE INNOVATION CENTRE, UNIVERSITY OF WARWICK

THE PROJECT

An £80 million contract to construct the National Automotive Innovation Centre (NAIC) in Coventry for the University of Warwick.

The 33,000 square metre development on the existing main campus of the University of Warwick site involves the construction of a four-storey ‘L’ shaped building that will house state-of-the-art teaching, research and development, design and engineering facilities, centred around collaborative workspaces.

OUR ROLE

  • Full time site based role – weekly droplines & progress reports to feed into overall project dashboard

BIRMINGHAM CHILDRENS HOSPITAL, BIRMINGHAM

THE PROJECT

A £35 million contract to design & build the new Birmingham Children’s Hospital in central Birmingham. 

The facility has provided new and improved patient facilities for cancer, haematology and stem cell services, three theatres and 18 surgical beds, and a new rare diseases centre for children and young people.

MAILBOX REFURBISHMENT, BIRMINGHAM

THE PROJECT

The £50 million refurbishment of The Mailbox shopping centre in the heart of Birmingham.

The two-year revamp introduced a new roof, larger public areas and improvements to the surrounding infrastructure.

A £28m private residential scheme in Birmingham city centre.  It comprises of 225 apartments with communal areas and parking.

PACKINGTON HALL REDEVELOPMENT, LICHFIELD

THE PROJECT

A £6.5 million project to restore and convert the Grade II listed Packington Hall into 6 apartments, and the construction of 22 new dwellings.

GEORGE GREEN LIBRARY, UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM

THE PROJECT

A £15m scheme for the University of Nottingham which consisted of an extensive refurbishment of an existing 1960s library building, together with the construction of a new modern curved 7,300 sq m three-storey extension at the front of the building.

THE NEW ASSAY OFFICE, BIRMINGHAM

THE PROJECT

A £10 million D&B to construct the new Assay Office in central Birmingham.  It was the first new Assay Office in Birmingham for 140 years and had huge significance to Birmingham and the jewellery industry.

NEW ROMO HEADQUARTERS, SUTTON-IN-ASHFIELD

THE PROJECT

A new £35 million head office building for global business ROMO.  It is a 33,000m2 development which will feature offices, process and storage areas and will deliver a new consolidated operational building at Sutton-in-Ashfield for the world-renowned fabrics company ROMO.

OUR ROLE

THE UNION STUDENT ACCOMMODATION, LEAMINGTON SPA

THE PROJECT

A £10.6m  design and build for two new student accommodation buildings in Leamington Spa.  Alongside the Grand Union Canal and close to the University of Warwick, the two four-storey buildings will includes 187 high quality bedrooms for students, including a mix of en-suite, standard and studio rooms.

THE OLD PICTURE HOUSE, LICHFIELD

THE PROJECT

The £5 million regeneration of the former Regal Cinema in Tamworth Street, Lichfield city centre.  It involves transforming the 1930s Art Deco building into a four-storey residential development of 38 premium 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, some with views over Lichfield Cathedral.  While the rear of the derelict building will be demolished for the apartments, we are thrilled to be restoring the iconic frontage to its former glory.

RAF LAKENHEATH F35 RE-DEVLEOPMENT

THE PROJECT

A £160m project to build an F-35 flight simulator, maintenance unit, new hangars and storage facilities at RAF Lakenheath.  The Suffolk airbase will be the first permanent international site for US Air Force F-35s in Europe.

OUR ROLE
